Kane and FA chairman Greg Clarke made a presentation to Rooney before the game, and the former United forward revealed: "I asked Harry to present me with the award because I believe he will beat my goalscoring record.

"It was great to be out there in front of the fans again and it was special for me and my family."
Kane has now responded to Rooney’s pressurising comments.
"It is definitely possible," said Kane, who won the 2018 World Cup golden boot.
"It is still a fair bit away. I don't like to set my targets that far ahead in the future because a lot can happen.
