Sebastian, who changed his name from Juan Pablo Escobar, has claimed that the drug violence in South and Central America is just as bad as when his father was alive.
He went on to add that “nothing has changed except the names” and the streaming service should be taking care when filming in “violent” places.
Speaking following the news that Carlos Munoz Portal’s body was found riddled with bullets in his car, he said: “As for what happened to the Netflix guy, I don’t know too much and I don’t trust what I read in the news.
“But unfortunately, Mexico is a very violent place.”

Netflix should be more responsible
“If I went to Africa to film lions, I wouldn’t be surprised if one killed me,” Sebastian continued.
“The drug dealers in Cali are watching Narcos and they don’t like it. Netflix should be more responsible.”
It comes after Pablo’s brother Roberto De Jesus Escobar Gaviria threatened the streaming service, warning them not to return to Mexico for filming.
"I don't want Netflix or any other film production company to film any movies in Medellin or Colombia that relates to me or my brother Pablo without authorisation from Escobar Inc," he told The Hollywood Reporter.

"It is very dangerous. Especially without our blessing. This is my country.”
The 71-year-old added that they should increase security for the film crew, commenting: “If you have intellect, you don't need to use weapons. If not, you have to. In this case, Netflix should provide hit men to their people as security."
Narcos season 3 is available to stream on Netflix now.
