Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Charlotte Hawkins threatens to leave over Piers Morgan attack
STRICTLY COME DANCING star Charlotte Hawkins felt the wrath of Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain today.
Piers Morgan: I was horrified by Charlotte's Strictly routine
The GMB news reporter was slammed for her Cha-cha-cha by the Strictly Come Dancing judges on Saturday night, and her agony only continued this morning as Piers Morgan accused her of being drunk.
Charlotte Hawkins, 42, and her partner Brendan Cole, 41, mustered up a measly 17 points, with Darcey Bussell, 48, even poking fun at her flirting.
As Good Morning Britain played out Charlotte’s routine today, she sighed: “I was hoping we’d run out of time for this. I should just leave now”
Piers, 52, teased: “Had you been drinking? A bit of Dutch courage?”

He went on: “I was horrified. I was hoping you were going to be really good at this.
“May I remind you, you’re representing this programme. At the moment it’s a complete nightmare.”
The spat comes after Chizzy Aukudolo was named as the first celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing last night, following a lacklustre dance-off with Brian Conley.
