COUNTRYFILE presenter Adam Henson turned daytime TV favourite Countdown into a filthy post-watershed panel show today.

The 51-year-old farmer couldn’t help himself as he joined the Channel 4 team to decipher the top scoring words of the day with Dictionary Corner queen Susie Dent.
After today’s sparring contestants struggled through a particularly tough set of pieces from the Alphabet, Adam proudly came up with a dirty five-letter word of his own.
“I have one” he teased. “Gonad.”
The answer mustered up a sneaky smirk from host Nick Hewer, while Susie refused to bat an eyelid, as she explained: “We can’t plural that, I’m afraid.”

I have one
Countryfile favourite Adam’s comical quip came after Rachel Riley, 31, - who replaced Carol Vorderman on the Channel 4 quiz show in 2009 - was left red-faced when a Countdown contestant spelled out the word “squirter”.
Unsurprisingly, viewers immediately took to Twitter to laugh about the whole thing.
One person roared: "Rachel Riley's face on Countdown when Dictionary Corner said they could've had Squirter for 8 points."

Nick Hewer was more impressed by Adam's Countdown clanger
"Your face @RachelRileyRR ‘SQUIRTER for 8’ #countdown," a second joked, alongside numerous laughing emojis.
Presenter Nick recently shared his own saucy scandal to come from the long-running series, revealing that some naughty Countdown fans often send him kinky underwear in the mail.
Countdown airs weekdays at 2.10pm on Channel 4.
