CORA CROSS is set to make a dramatic return to EastEnders after two years away from Albert Square.
EastEnders' Denise rips up letter from her son's new parents
Lauren and Abi Branning grandmother (played by Ann Mitchell) left Walford after she was made homeless.
Cora was later put into sheltered accommodation after her friends staged a protest at the local council's Christmas party.
And spoiler pictures released today show Cora trying to help out a recently-unemployed Denise Fox (Diane Parish).

EastEnders: The great-grandmother was put into sheltered housing after being made homeless
Denise recently quit her job at the Minute Mart leaving her short of cash, and while attempting to sort out her financial problems, she goes to the job centre but has no luck.
Left with no option, Denise visits a homeless food bank where she is horrified to find Cora working there.
When Denise sees Cora, she runs off but the sympathetic great-grandmother follows her out trying to give her a £10 note.

Eventually Cora catches up with Denise in an alleyway full of rubbish and comforts her.
