STRICTLY COME DANCING fans watching It Takes Two this evening expressed their delight that the show could take them away from the presidential election result.

Still trying to make sense of this morning's vote, viewers chose to watch the Strictly spin-off show for half an hour to allow Zoe Ball to draw them away from the reality of Donald Trump's success over Hillary Clinton.
"The news might be sh*t but at least there's #Strictly," tweeted one viewer.
"F**k it, time to escape with a bit of Strictly gossip. #ItTakesTwo it," posted another.
A third wrote: "Been a long day in banking & the lovely @ianwaite was just my Trump-idote #ItTakesTwo."

Other fans of the spin-off show were worried that BBC election coverage may affect their beloved programme, after ITV dropped Lorraine this morning.
One disgruntled viewer tweeted: "This isn't going to affect #ItTakesTwo, is it? Can't check til I get home, but I ain't accepting that kind of interruption!"
