The X Factor 2016: Honey G accused of 'stealing lyrics' from Britain's Got Talent act
SHE’S been the biggest talking point of The X Factor 2016 by far, but Honey G has also been the most divisive - and now she’s come under fire from another controversial talent show star.
Honey G's rapping leaves Piers Morgan SPEECHLESS
The rapper, real name Anna Georgette Gilford, has become well-known for her call-and-response refrain “when I say Honey, you say G” - which DJ Talent from Britain’s Got Talent claims she stole from him.
During his audition in 2009, he used the chant: “When I say Britain, you say Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, it’s DJ Talent.”
Now, speaking to The Sun, he said: ”I wrote that track from my heart. It was for the people of Great Britain and the nation.”
"What she's done is use my catchphrase to big herself up and I don't think it's fair. I'm the artist! She's getting publicity for using my work."
Honey G's X Factor appearances have been slammed by DJ Talent

Going on to attack Honey’s personality, he added: "I don't think she's doing herself any favours with her attitude.
“It's too egotistical. You need to be on a level."
Honey, 34, has consistently faced accusations that her act is fake, and has also hit out at being labelled one of this year’s “joke acts”.
“I know some people have been saying they don’t think I’m real and that I’m a prank that’s been set up by the producers, but those haters need to check themselves because I AM the finished article,” she told What’s On TV.
The rapper will be performing once again on Saturday night
“I might not have the most amazing voice but I’m a heavyweight rapper, singer and producer and I write my own lyrics, so I’ve got real skills to bring to the table.
“To be regarded as a joke is really insulting.”
The X Factor continues this Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
