Jim Naughtie shouts 's**t' LIVE before 7am during Radio 4's Today programme
RADIO 4's Today programme was a tad more eventful than usual this morning when host Jim Naughtie blurted out "s**t" before 7am.

The perfectly timed expletive came immediately after the familiar six pips leading up to the daily morning news programme's opening seconds, but its speaker continued with the show as if nothing happened.
Today's edition was entirely dedicated to the Paris terror attacks and also featured former BBC political editor Nick Robinson, who swiftly tweeted just moments after the gaffe: "Looks like being one of those days on @BBCr4today!"
Hundreds of listeners were quick to point out the on-air slip-up, including Private Eye writer Tom Jamieson, who quipped that the clip was "the best Thought for the Day ever".
Nicky Clark said Jim was "speaking for the nation here on the Monday morning feeling," while Labour councillor John O'Shea joked: 'Do hope Naughtie hasn't got Jeremy Hunt on again today."

Of course, Jim's most infamous foul-mouthed slur came wen he called ex-culture secretary Jeremy Hunt, Jeremy C*** live on air in 2010.
Recalling the legendary radio blooper in August, Jim said: "I was there with lots of bits of paper and someone was shoving headlines in front of me and I said, 'After the news we’ll be talking to Jeremy C***'.
"And all I could see behind the glass were arms going up in the air, as in ‘We surrender’. And the guy who was passing the news bulletins to the late Rory Morrison went under the table [laughing]."
Jim famously called Jeremy Hunt, Jeremy C***
The former newspaper journalist confirmed he would be leaving The Today programme after 23-years on the show to work as a a special correspondent for Radio 4 and as BBC News books editor.
“The Today programme is a golden cage, a wonderful place to be and it’s quite difficult to know how and when to get out,” he told the Guardian.
“There is never a lovely time to leave, but I do think 21 years is a good innings. I will miss the daily kick of a live programme, but you can’t do it forever. I’m 64 next month – I don’t feel anything like 64, but it’s time to move on.”
Jim Naughtie announced he was leaving the Today programme earlier this year
