The X Factor: Cheryl's set for victory as 4th Power emerge as the viewers' winners
THEY'VE been the talk of the town since their very first audition but during tonight's episode of The X Factor, 4th Power proved exactly why they're the word on everyone's lips.
4th Power nailed their Six Chair Challenge
The Six Chair Challenge has seen the best of the best buckle under the pressure, but for the Fillipino quartet, tonight's gruelling audition was a walk in the park.
Taking on Christina Aguilera is generally considered a death sentence on the ITV talent show - unless you're 4th Power who nailed the titular track from the diva's movie Burlesque like it was a nursery rhyme.
And Cheryl Fernandez-Versini could smell victory as the girls stole the show once again with their flawless choreography and astonishingly powerful vocals.
After Simon Cowell - who was visibly reeling with jealousy - told the sibling band they were "amazing," his pop princess companion had to take it one step farther.
The group's rendition of Burlesque ad the judges on their feet
"I don't think you're amazing," she sniggered before leaving the girl group hanging. "I think you're phenomenal".
Simon concluded: "They are terrific. They make this category for me".
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini called the performance 'phenomenal'
And the audience at home agreed, with 4th Power fanatics flocking in their thousands to praise the international sensations.
One fan wrote: "4th Power had me on my feet," while another added: "4th power are already my winners."

But they're not through to the judges' houses just yet. The ladies must keep their seat from another seven groups who are about to give it their all when Cheryl's second bout of acts fight it out for a seat next week.
The X Factor continues next Sunday at 7pm on ITV1.
