Strictly Come Dancing: Jay McGuiness tops the leader board with the 'best dance ever'
MOVIE WEEK closed with an almighty climax as The Wanted star Jay McGuiness pulled out "the best dance ever" to bag this competition's highest score yet.
Jay McGuiness' jive wins the 'best dance ever' accolade
He's gone under the radar throughout the series behind bookies favourite Peter Andre, but tonight the former boybander stole the show and proved himself to be a hot contender for that coveted Glitterball Trophy.
Jay and his partner Aliona Vilani astonished the panel with their Jive to a medley of Misirlou/You Never Can Tell from Pulp Fiction and even bagged the first 10 pointer of the contest from an ecstatic Bruno Tonoili.
Dressed as John Travolta and Uma Thurman's sexually charged characters from the iconic Quentin Tarantino cult classic; the dynamic duo brought an explosive routine to life to end the night with a bang.
"Finally, the blockbuster everybody was waiting for," screamed Bruno as he leapt out of his seat.

He continued: "You out done and out danced Travolta and everyone else here tonight. Best dance ever!"
Even Craig Revel-Horwood had to admit: "That was a level of technique we have never seen ever. Ah-maze-ing.'
As electricity filled the room like never before, Darcey called the singer the "coolest" guy in the competition and blushed over the chart topper's "sex appeal".
Len concluded: "That was the best dance so far this season". And he wasn't the only one to think so.

Jay's score of 37 put him straight at the top of the leader board by a whole five points ahead of his nearest rivals EastEnders star Kellie Bright and Call The Midwife actress Helen George.
Last week's champion Peter Andre had to settle for fifth place this week as his transformation into Pirate's of the Caribbean's Jack Sparrow earned a respectable 28 points.

At the bottom of the pile and looking the most likely to face tomorrow's dance-off is Carol Kirkwood and Ainsley Harriott who were both dubbed box office flops by the judges.
Strictly Come Dancing continues with the results show tomorrow night at 7.15pm on BBC One.
