'Trump's microexpression on Sky News just proved Starmer is utterly finished'
EXCLUSIVE: The US president has made his feelings clear about the Labour leader in recent months.

Donald Trump's true feelings about Sir Keir Starmer's shaky seat in No. 10 have been revealed by a celebrity body language expert. After a devastating defeat in the local elections last week, the Labour leader's future in office was already at risk. Things quickly went from bad to worse on Monday (May 11), when he failed to restore the nation's faith in him during his 'reset' speech.
Since then, more than 80 MPs have called for the Prime Minister to go, while Starmer continues to fend off rumours of an early exit. Overnight in the US, the president took another parting shot at the politician as he fights to cling to his job.

President Trump, who has been a fierce critic of the Prime Minister over the UK's reluctance to help the US with the war in Iran, took a swipe at him while speaking to Sky News. Speaking outside the White House before beginning his journey to China for a highly anticipated state visit with counterpart Xi Jinping, Mr Trump was asked if he had any advice for the under-pressure Prime Minister.
The Republican leader advised Starmer to make some changes to oil production in the North Sea. But when asked whether Sir Keir should resign, Mr Trump simply replied: "That's up to him."
Now, body language expert Inbaal Honigman has explained the politician's true feelings about the Labour leader's tenure in office. On behalf of prediction markets experts Covers.com, she revealed that Trump doesn't see the Labour leader remaining in office.
She told us: "When Trump is asked about Starmer, he instantly does a grimace. The president displays tightened facial muscles, his jaw tenses, and his eyes squint, creating a twisted, involuntary reaction to something painful.

"There's also an evident sharp intake of breath, which suggests that Trump is anxious for Starmer, as this inhalation suggests that his fight-or-flight response has been activated. This instant response, associated with panic, reveals that the president views Starmer as someone suffering with misfortune."
Despite their obvious friction towards one another, the expert added that Trump is showing empathy towards the UK Prime Minister. She explained: "When Trump starts to answer the question, it is evident that he is fond of Starmer, and simply views him as someone who doesn't take the president's straightforward advice.
"The Leader of the Free World tilts his head to the side as he speaks about energy and immigration, and he defaults into his trademark accordion-player hand moves. Those are his typical communication gestures, as the cocked head suggests empathy, and the undulating hands are his way of adding emphasis to his words.
"When asked whether Starmer should stay or go, Trump refuses to engage, shaking his head as he answers. His body language is consistent with his words and he displays a rare moment of empathy and sincerity."
Honigman concluded: "Trump's lowered eyebrows and head shake reveal that he thinks that Starmer is on the way out, and he is saddened by it." It comes after further calls for the Labour leader's removal from the SNP, who announced they will attempt to force a vote on the Labour leader's future in an amendment to the King's speech.
New SNP Westminster leader Dave Doogan said: "This farce has to end now so Parliament can focus on the issues that really matter. It's clear the only way that can happen is for Keir Starmer to go." Only time will tell whether Starmer can successfully cling to his seat as pressure mounts from every side.
