I'm A Celeb legend snubbed from All Stars again – producers need to sort it out
EXCLUSIVE: An I'm A Celebrity finalist has opened up about not being invited back for All Stars.

I had the pleasure of having a chat with TV personality Jake Quickenden as he fronts a new campaign with WaterWipes. Jake is best known for appearing on The X Factor and coming second on the 14th season of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2014. Now a father, Jake has joined forces with WaterWipes for the launch of the The Wipe Up Dance song, which he hopes will relieve stress on parents when it comes to nappy changing time.
Our chat came ahead of the release of the second series of I'm A Celebrity: All Stars – and I was as shocked as anyone to learn that he is yet to be invited back. Back in 2014, Jake, 37, finished as runner-up to Carl Fogarty and formed friendships with several of his campmates, including Jimmy Bullard and, perhaps surprisingly, Edwina Currie.

Despite his incredibly memorable run, Jake is yet to receive the call-up to appear on All Stars. He said he’d be keen to give the show another go, especially since he was so new to the industry when he first appeared.
He exclusively told us: "I've never watched it back but I'm fuming because I want to do All Stars. I'd just come out of The X Factor. I was so fresh into the industry, I was like a little boy. I'd love to go and do it now and just remember it.
"I was in awe that I was on the show. I was starstruck and thought it was crazy that I was doing I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, probably to the point where I didn't enjoy it as much as I should've."
Jake continued: "I know All Stars is coming round and I would love to do it. I would love to do more trials. I forgot what all the trials were like. I know that I had an amazing time and it was one of my favourite shows I've ever done, but it was 12 years ago, I can't remember it.
"I want that feeling of walking into the jungle again and seeing everything."
Jake's new campaign with WaterWipes is in collaboration with the release of The Wipe Up Dance, which has reduced nappy-change stress felt by 82% of parents.
The anthem has been scientifically designed to capture babies' attention through tempo and rhythm and create positive associations and joyful bonding moments during nappy changes and clean-up.
A long user of WaterWipes, Jake admitted joining the campaign was a no-brainer as The Wipe Up Dance has already reduced the stress on his experience with nappy changing, particularly with his one-year-old son Kit.
Jake said: "Since I've had Kit, I've never known a baby so hard to change. It's like wrestling a crocodile. He does not sit still. Then when I introduced him to this song, he actually listened to it.

"He actually calmed down and I managed to change his nappy. I wasn't stressed, he wasn't stressed. The song is so catchy and it's short and the nappy change is done in 30 seconds if the baby stays still."
Jake recognised how stressful nappy changes can be, especially for parents juggling multiple children, as he does with his two sons, Leo, five, and Kit. Jake is also a stepfather to his partner Sophie Church's 12-year-old son Freddie.
He continued: "I thought it was a really good idea and also there's science behind it - it's proven. I read something the other day about the best way for your child's brain to develop and it is music. The fact that it's music, it gets rid of a lot of stress and drama and that's what I'm all about.
"These wet wipes and the dance really help. Having kids is so stressful. I wasn't really prepared when Leo came along but you grow into it. There's no rules for kids. Anything that helps and anything that gets rid of any stress is a big deal so this is why I wanted to get involved with this. I think it's a great idea and I'll tell anyone to just bang it on."

Along with the campaign, Jake is also gearing up to play George Michael in Wham! The Show, which kicks off in April. One person who will no doubt be there to support Jake is his former I'm A Celeb co-star Edwina, 79, who often turns up without telling him.
Gushing over their friendship, Jake said: "She's a diamond. I never thought I'd be great friends with Edwina. She still comes to watch me in every show that I do and she never tells me. I just come out the stage door and she's there. She's so lovely. I will not hear a bad word said about that woman. I know if you're into politics then you probably have but she really looked after me in there.
"I didn't know who she was and she didn't know who I was and that just proves that you can have a bond with someone when you're chucked in a jungle together. I don't think I would have had the same experience if it wasn't for Edwina."
