Coronation Street's Jodie's true intentions for baby Connie 'unveiled' and it's bad news
Coronation Street fans are convinced they have 'worked out' Jodie Ramsay's true intentions for baby Connie and it's not looking good
Corriedale: ITV tease Corrie and Emmerdale crossover
Coronation Street fans believe they've 'figured out' Jodie Ramsay's plans for baby Connie, and it doesn't bode well.
Jodie (played by Olivia Frances Brown) made her debut on our screens during the action-packed Corriedale crossover episode in January.
Initially, her character's identity was a mystery, and she was seen fleeing after being held hostage in the back of a van by Emmerdale's Graham Foster (portrayed by Andrew Scarborough).
Jodie then arrived in Weatherfield where she quickly revealed herself as the long-lost half-sister of Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) - leaving both Shona and her husband David (Jack P Shepherd) stunned.
Since then, Jodie has adjusted to life on the cobbles, moving in with Shona and David and even securing a job at the local cafe. However, it's clear that Jodie is concealing a multitude of secrets, reports the Daily Star.

The character is manipulating the Platts, and possesses a secret box filled with mementos from her past, including a mysterious locket, a book belonging to Brian Packham (Pete Gunn), and a cut-out of Bernie Winter's (Jane Hazlegrove) face.
And in Thursday's episode (March 26), Jodie shifted her focus to baby Connie, the niece of Carla Connor (Alison King). With no one available to care for the child, Jodie volunteered her services.
Carla was initially hesitant, but Jodie insisted she had plenty of experience with children and that she was DBS checked. Carla accepted Jodie's offer, but when Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) returned home to find Jodie and Connie, she was perplexed.

Despite Carla explaining the circumstances, Lisa remained dubious about Jodie and encouraged Carla to verify Jodie's references.
Now, fans have 'sussed out' Jodie's real motives for Connie - and it doesn't bode well. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one individual posted: "I don't trust Jodie with that baby."
Another chimed in: "Definitely not, what is she up to?" A third anticipated a kidnapping plot twist, stating: "100% she's going kidnap her." Another person then pondered: "I was just thinking that."
Coronation Street airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
