The US president was grilled about a strike on an alleged smuggling boat off the coast of Venezuela - but appeared to backtrack.

Donald Trump lost it live on Fox News as he was questioned about releasing footage of a second strike on an alleged smuggling boat off the coast of Venezuela, which killed two survivors of an initial blast. Two alleged drug smugglers were hanging on to remnants of the ship’s hull, destroyed from the first strike, when the boat was struck again – ending their lives.
Now ABC reporter Rachel Scott has confronted Trump live on TV – but the US president lost it with her at the White House. Things kicked off when she quoted Trump’s words back at him. She said: “You said you would have no problem releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd off the coast of Venezuela. Secretary Hegseth announced-“

But she was cut off as Trump insisted: “I never said that. That’s you said that, I never said that. This is ABC fake news.”
Scott said: “You said that you would have no problem- All right, well Secretary Hegseth-“ but was interrupted once more for Trump to say: “Whatever Hegseth wants to do is okay with me.”
Trump in fact said last week: “I don’t know what they have, but whatever they have, we’d certainly release, no problem.”

Yesterday (December 8) he lost it with Scott, who asked him: “Are you releasing the full video?”
He said: “Didn’t I just tell you that?” as Scott clarified: “You said it was possible.”
A furious Trump blasted her: “You are the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place. Let me just tell you – you are an obnoxious, a terrible- actually a terrible reporter. And it’s always the same thing with you.
“I told you, whatever Pete Hegseth wants to do is okay with me. “
