Apple TV reveals Shrinking season 3 release date as Michael J Fox joins cast
Shrinking season 3 will see the return of some familiar names as well as some new faces
A popular comedy show is returning for season three with a star-studded cast as Apple TV shares a release date.
Apple TV has now revealed the premiere date and first look at the 11-episode third season of the Emmy Award-nominated comedy series Shrinking.
Starring Emmy Award nominee Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) and multi-award winner Harrison Ford (Star Wars), along with acclaimed performances from talented stars, fans will see the return of some familiar faces as well as some brand new, but recognisable, names.
Following a grieving therapist who decides to become more involved in his patients' lives, fans don't have long left to wait. Arriving on the streaming platform on January 28, 2026, episodes will be released every week right up until April 8, 2026.
Apple TV teases: "Shrinking follows a grieving therapist (played by Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own."

Fans will see Christa Miller, Emmy Award nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Emmy nominee Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley.
In addition to the ensemble cast, Shrinking season three brings back guest stars Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick and Cobie Smulders.
But viewers are also in for a treat with some new additions Jeff Daniels and multi-award winner and activist Michael J. Fox
Created by Emmy Award winners Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein alongside Segel, “Shrinking” has become a huge hit with fans, with season 2 receiving an impressing score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.
