Alison Hammond shared some heartwarming snippets about her first date with boyfriend David Putman.
The This Morning star was reminiscing about the special train journey. During a heartfelt call-in to This Morning, a woman named Anita expressed deep gratitude towards Alison for her immense kindness aboard the Pullman train.
Moved by the caller's words, Alison recalled being with someone special during the treasured moment. Anita shared: "Alison you are a wonderful person who made a lady feel so special. We met on the Pullman train. My husband was the guard and I'd been invited on because I'd just finished cancer treatment - chemo and radiotherapy.
"You never rushed me out, you asked me everything, what I'd gone through. Alison, I know you're from the midlands but I think we're such special people that we've always got a smile and a kind word, and like yourself, I like to think I'm kind but sometimes you do get hurt being kind. You, Alison, I can't tell you did for me that day."
Humbled by the praise, Alison responded, "That's such a lovely thing to say. Anita, what's lovely about you is that you haven't mentioned who I was with. See how lovely that was!"

Alison then explained how she was with her boyfriend, sharing: "It was my first date with my boyfriend. It was so lovely, and you met him before anyone else knew anything about him. And you loved him didn't you? We went on the train and she came and joined us and we had some wine. I was so nervous."
Alison is reportedly over the moon with her beau David and has hinted at wedding bells in the future, reports the Mirror.
A source close to the This Morning star revealed: "Her career is going from strength to strength and she loves being on This Morning with Dermot and audiences love her and she is very in demand. She's also lost quite a bit of weight and while she's always been happy with her body no matter what size, she feels very healthy and has been working out a lot more and taking care of herself. She's glowing!
"They went through some tough times when they first started going out but David has made her believe in love again and has restored her faith in men. Add in the fact that she is very happy in her new relationship and has got Aidan's approval and Alison couldn't be happier. They have talked about marriage and although it's quite soon, Alison would love to get married one day. And she wants to look her best when she does even if it's not for a while."
