GMB: Richard Madeley shares bad weather warning

Richard Madeley has addressed his future on ITV's Good Morning Britain.

The star took over as one of the many presenters on rotation after Piers Morgan sensationally stormed off set and later left the show after comments he made about Meghan Markle.

Richard eventually became a regular host alongside Susanna Reid, having had a long career in daytime telly after presenting his famous show, Richard and Judy, for many years prior.

Three years on from stepping in to help with the hosting duties on the popular morning show, Richard told The Sun that he's not going anywhere soon - but he knows what will be the catalyst.

He declared: "At some point I'm going to be too bloody old - I'm 68! At some stage either I will think, or ITV will think, maybe the time's come."

But he vowed that won't be for a few years still as he declared "I don't feel 68".

The TV host went on to praise his co-star Susanna as he said he's "really lucky" to have been paired with her and added that they're "very similar".

Richard explained that the duo have a meeting every morning at 5am in her dressing room as they all go through the running of the day.

The host also admitted he would never get up at 4am if he didn't enjoy his job, adding "I don't need to do it".

Richard is on morning TV a lot alongside his co-host Susanna, who has been on the show since 2014, but there are numerous other presenters who make up the grand total.

The likes of Kate Garraway, Adil Ray, Martin Lewis and Charlotte Hawkins all take on regular spots on the ITV morning show.
