NCIS’ Michael Weatherly looks sharp in ‘exciting’ on set snap from Tony and Ziva
Iconic star Michael Weatherly has given NCIS fans a taste of what's to come from the highly anticipated spin-off series Tony and Ziva.

NCIS star Michael Weatherly has taken to Instagram with a thrilling update for the upcoming spin-off, Tony and Ziva.
His iconic Special Agent Anthony ‘Tony’ DiNozzo will finally be reteaming with Ziva David (played by Cote de Pablo) for all new adventures coming soon on CBS.
The offshoot was announced back in February this year and is confirmed to be coming to Paramount+ with a 10-episode first season.
Earlier this week, Michael gave his followers a sneak peek behind the scenes on his personal social media page.
He looked especially sharp in a white shirt and black bowtie, looking ready to head undercover at a fancy party.
However, Michael also seemed a little red-faced after a day’s filming as he admitted he was sheltering from the sun.
“Taking a breather in the heat during our exciting #ncis tony&ziva extravaganza!” he said in the caption.
Filming is currently underway in Budapest, Hungary, and is apparently making great progress in time for Tony and Ziva’s 2024 premiere.
Michael’s fans were thrilled to get this update for the return of their favourite characters, taking to the comments to show their appreciation for the TV star.
“Looking forward to all the adventures of Tony and Ziva bet it will be #1 NCIS show instantly,” one eager viewer replied.
A Hungarian fan said: “Oooh, you are still in my country! It is very very hot, hope you are well! Can't wait for the show! Thanks for making it!”
“I hope filming is going well,” a third commented. “Can’t wait for the first picture of Cote and you as Ziva and Tony.”
And a final fan added: “You are looking very dapper! Hope your not feeling too hot! Can’t wait to see all the Tiva content you share!”
Back in February, Michael, Cote and showrunner John McNamara said in a joint statement: “We've been talking about this story for many years, and now with John at the helm, we are ready.
“The world of Tony and Ziva (and daughter Tali) promises to be an action-packed roller coaster fuelled by love, danger, tears and laughter. We also want to acknowledge and thank the fans from around the world who supported the 'TIVA' movement for years.
“To this day, they say hello in grocery stores and on the street to tell us how much these characters mean to them and ask what Tony and Ziva are up to now. This is for you.”
NCIS: Tony and Ziva is coming in 2024 on Paramount+. NCIS is available to stream on Disney+.
