This Morning hosts open the show with 80s music dancing
This Morning viewers were quick to air their grievances just moments into the show, with one disgruntled fan branding the opening as "cringe".
As Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle took to the screen dancing energetically to 80s anthems, they highlighted the show's emphasis on the era's culture.
However, not all fans were thrilled, taking to Twitter to vent. One irked viewer exclaimed: "I love '80s music, but Jesus Christ, this is cringe! #ThisMorning."
Complaints continued to pour in with tweets like "Same s*** different day #ThisMorning," and: "Only 3mins in, and it's already a complete s**t-show."
The focus on recent Strictly Come Dancing gossip also left some fans exasperated, with one begging, "Give it a rest with the Strictly scandal! After this week I doubt anyone is really interested #thismorning," reports the Mirror.

Echoing the sentiment was another tweet: "#ThisMorning oh god strictly scandal...,".
Yet, amidst the critics, some viewers delighted in the presenters' enthusiasm, as one supporter cheered: "#ThisMorning nice moves Josie and Craig lol." (sic).
Welcoming the audience, Josie couldn't help but admire Craig's dance moves, quipping: "Hello, what a mover. Oh, here he goes Beyonce over here."

Josie then introduced the programme while Craig divulged: "There is a reason for this. We are paying homage to the 80s today and we just can't get enough."
Following another burst of song from Josie, she praised Craig, saying: "You are giving me Freddie Mercury vibes. I love Freddie Mercury."
The segment wrapped up with both hosts laughing about being out of breath after their spirited dance.
"That is embarrassing, isn't it?" Josie cheekily remarked while her fellow presenter retorted: "Child of the 80s...out of breath dancing."
Their conversation swiftly moved on to their preferred hits from the 80s, with Josie promptly declaring her number-one singer as Annie Lennox, inspiring her to spontaneously break into song and dance.
Feeling like a pop star, the anchor confessed, "I feel like I am in a music video," before teasing the upcoming Friday programme.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
