Abi Webster's (played by Sally Carman) trolling nightmare continues on Coronation Street in upcoming scenes when the online bully strikes again, leaving her to face a huge cost.

Abi was left horrified recently when she discovered that someone had posted a sex tape with her in it on the Weatherfield Gazette’s website after she filmed an interview about the death of her son, Seb.

As if that wasn’t traumatic enough, Abi had no recollection of the video being taken and assumed it was from the period in her life when she used to take drugs. The video soon began appearing on more sites, leaving Abi even more distressed. However, upon closer inspection of the footage, she realised it was not her in the videos - they were all deep fakes.

In official spoilers released by ITV, Abi points out to Kevin (Michael Le Vell) that, although the woman had her face, she also had tattoos that she didn’t have.

A tearful Abi tells Kevin that her online troll has reposted one of the deep fake videos. But the bad news goes from bad to worse as police officer, Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), calls at the garage and admits to Abi and Kevin that they’re no nearer to knowing who posted the fake videos.

The man of the law suggests that Abi might be best to hire a lawyer to help solve her dilemma once and for all. She feels like someone is out to ruin her life, as she continues to be harassed.

Two lads call at the garage, to make lewd remarks over the videos online, while the twins adopted mother cancels their visit with Abi - driving it home to her that she needs to do what she can to get the videos removed.

Bearing Craig's advice in mind, Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) suggests Abi and Kevin try the online management company Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) contacted for his daughter Asha (Tanisha Gorey).

When Kevin and Abi discover that the online management company will charge £5k per month to remove the videos, they despair, knowing it’s unaffordable.

They need to take drastic action if they want the videos removed - but how will they find the cash?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV and ITVX.
