Celebrity Apprentice: Ayda Field rages over teammates' 'unimpressive' Robbie Williams news
CELEBRITY APPRENTICE kicks off tonight as two groups of stars face off against each other to impress Lord Alan Sugar all in aid of Comic Relief. But Ayda Field won’t be too happy with what her contestants have to say about her husband.
Celebrity Apprentice: Claude calls Rylan 'the weak link'
The 10 Celebrity Apprentice contestants will be divided into two teams of boys and girls.
The girls’ team is comprised of Ayda along with Kelly Hoppen, Tameka Empson, Rachel Johnson and Amanda Holden on the BBC contest.
They are tasked with arranging a cabaret event where they will need acts to perform.
Ayda calls husband Robbie Williams to try and get him to appear at the event held at Cafe De Paris but things don’t go to plan, according to The Mirror.
They said the guys weren't impressed with the line-up
Ayda isn’t thrilled at the prospect as she says: “I’ve never leaned on Robbie for anything so I feel slightly guilty.”
However the sub team, made up of Tameka, Rachel and Sadie, have to share some bad news with the actress.
They tell her they’ve struggled with selling tickets because potential customers were “unimpressed” by the line-up on offer.
The mother-of-three then vents to Kelly and Amanda in the car.
She tells them: ”They said the guys weren't impressed with the line-up! I wanted to rip the phone out of their hands and beat these guys with the telephone.
"I mean what do they want? Do they want god to some down and serve them crudités?"
There’s further upset for Ayda later on when she finds out that Rachel sold someone a table for £10,000 on the promise that Robbie would serenade their table.
"My poor husband," Ayda declares.
The boys’ team is made up of Rylan Clark-Neal, Russell Kane, Sam Allardyce, Richard Arnold and Omid Djalili.
The contestants will have to call in their contacts to make their nights a success.
Lord Sugar will tell them: “We are all here for one reason, to raise money for Comic Relief.
“Entertainment is big business, all you people should know that, so with that in mind your task is going to be to organise and host a cabaret night.”
Alongside the business mogul, Karren Brady and Claude Littner will also be back to act as his advisors.
The episode is one of a two-parter with the second set to air tomorrow.
Lord Sugar will choose a winning team based on how well they do in the task.
Celebrity Apprentice starts tonight at 9pm on BBC One.
