Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: Jaime Lannister’s fate revealed in big clue YOU missed?
GAME OF THRONES season eight is just months away from returning to the small screen and now HBO have thrilled fans by revealing the first-look images from the final run. And, one image appears to hint at Jaime Lannister’s fate.
Game of Thrones: Kit Harington says he SPOILED ending for wife
Game of Thrones will return for its eighth and final series in April and fans are desperate to find out how the HBO show will come to an end.
Now, the first-look images from the new series have been revealed and it seems they drop some subtle hints about what will take place.
One photo which has caught the attention of fans is a shot of Jaime Lannister (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).
He can be simply be seen sitting in his armour with a small smile on his face.
But fans have noticed a very subtle detail regarding his armour which could hint at his fate.
Many have pointed out Jaime’s garb is very similar to Robb Stark’s (Richard Madden).
His chest plate is the same shape and features the same detail as Robb’s hinting he will make it to the North.
Furthermore, it suggests, if he has made it to the North, he has been welcomed by Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner).
Jaime made his intentions to help Jon and Daenerys with their fight against the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) in the season seven finale.
It will therefore hardly be surprising if Jaime does make it to Winterfell.
Unfortunately, some fans think it won’t end well for Jaime if he does head North.
One Reddit user wrote: “And this is why he will die, horribly, in a sudden and unexpected way that crushes all of our hearts.”
A second added: “This makes me feel like he’s gonna get torn apart and die.”
Other images released show Jon and Daenerys looking lovingly at one another.
It appears to suggest the pair will continue their love affair despite learning they are related or are still yet to find out.
Daenerys can be seen in a white fur coat dress which she wore when she went beyond The Wall.
It appears to be very similar to the outfit she is wearing when she meets Sansa for the first time.
Meanwhile, Jon is wrapped up in leather and furs as he heads back to Winterfell.
Fans are now desperate for HBO to release a trailer for the final series.
Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
