EastEnders spoilers: Alfie Moon RETURNS as he delivers horror warning to Slaters
EASTENDERS fans were horrified over Christmas when they thought Alfie Moon had died, only to discover he had faked his own death to escape with his baby leaving the Slater family devastated.
EastEnders: Phil helps Alfie to run away with baby Cherry
EastEnders got an unexpected new villain last year on the BBC soap.
Alfie Moon (played by Shane Ritchie) cheated on his beloved Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) off screen.
However, he learned how actions have consequences and as a result, found himself with a love child.
Mother, Hayley Slater (Katie Jarvis) tried to get him to start a relationship with her and thus become a family around baby Cherry.
However, Alfie was set on winning back Kat and instead kept his fling a secret - until the wily Slater worked out what went on.
After a fight ensured, Hayley pushed him down the stairs and everyone thought he had died.
But EastEnders fans were stunned to discover he faked his death and actually ran off with Cherry.
And last night on the BBC soap, Alfie made another shock appearance.
Hayley and Kat tried desperately to locate him but to no avail.
They set their sights on Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), believing him to have helped Alfie escape.
But viewers know full well it was Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) who had helped Alfie get away.
He gave him a fake passport do he could make his escape.
However before he left, he appeared on a video call to speak to Hayley.
She screamed: “Alfie, where is she? I want to see my baby.”
The father then showed Hayley her baby, and set about reassuring her.

He told her: “She’s fine - as you can see - she’s just fine.
“I’m sorry, it’s a bit of a mess Hayley.”
Alfie then revealed he would bring Cherry home “soon”.
But will Alfie stay true to his words or will he run away with the baby for good?
