Putin fury after Kremlin generals wipe out elite Russian army unit in military fiasco

Putin's hapless generals have once again bombed their own troops in another military fiasco for the Kremlin.

Throughout the war, Russia's army has shown a remarkable ability to wipe out its own troops, as well as those of the enemy.

Countless reports have emerged of Russian military positions coming under fire from their own troops.

The Kremlin's airforce has also joined in the fun, dropping an astonishing 93 heavy bombs inside Russia and the occupied territories in Ukraine, according to a recent analysis.

As a result many Russian civilians have been injured or even killed. The Kremlin almost always blames Ukraine's military for the self-inflicted wounds.

In the very latest incident, local media reports that a bomb was accidentally dropped on a TOS-1 unit in the Belogorod region close to Ukraine's border, killing at least three soldiers.

Images posted to social media channels show a huge fire raging on the horizon, with a column of thick black smoke spiralling upwards into the night's sky.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor for Belgorod region, confirmed there had been "an explosion on the outskirts of the town of Shebekino."

He added that explosion had damaged ten houses and a car, but denied there were any casualties.

The TOS-1 is a terrifying heavy flame thrower which can cause devastating destruction and carnage.

This type of munitions releases a large cloud of flammable gas and causes massive explosions.

It is able to generate temperatures up to 3,000 degrees Celsius and can quite literally "vaporise human bodies".

Thursday night saw a swarm of Ukrainian drones attack six different Russian regions, as Kyiv steps up its aerial attacks in the country.

Russia's Ministry of Defence said it shot down 87 UAVS that targeted the Rostov region and Crimea among others.

One drone was able to hit an electrical substation in the town of Morozovsk in the Rostov region, leaving residents without electricity or water.
