Thrifty Camilla back in royal blue for the Royal Variety concert
THE Duchess of Cornwall wore the same blue dress to last night’s Royal Variety Performance as she did to the show back in 2008.
The elegant floor-length gown was designed by British star Vivienne Westwood and featured long-sleeves and a two-tone effect.
Camilla beamed as she and Prince Charles arrived at the London Palladium for the annual event.
As they made their way inside the theatre, the Royal couple were greeted by an array of performers, from singers to comedians.
Camilla, 66, took a particualr shine to John Bishop who was seen holding her hands in his as he made her laugh.
She then moved on to '8 Out of 10 Cats' presenter Jimmy Carr, who looked less than impressed as he met the blonde.
As Camilla moved along the line and stopped in front of him, Jimmy pulled a rather comical face - which no doubt made the Duchess move swiftly on.
She and Charles were in stitches when Dame Edna Everage sat in the Royal Box next to Camilla before being moved on.
Performers at the event included pop stars Gary Barlow, Jessie J, Mary J Blige and hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks, who were joined by skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Comedy was provided by Jimmy and Johnm, as well as Sean Walsh.
The show, in aid of the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund, will be screened on ITV on Monday December 9.
