Vanessa Feltz hits out at 'unfair' Strictly Come Dancing rule amid BBC report findings

Vanessa Feltz has shared how Strictly Come Dancing can be "unfair" as she spoke on "not being convinced" by some of the participants this season.

Nick Knowles reveals Strictly Come Dancing injury

Vanessa Feltz has shared her thoughts on this season of Strictly Come Dancing after the show has weathered many scandals as of late.

The TV personality revealed that so far she "has not been sold" by any of the celebrity performances but also admitted it is "unfair" for the programme to vote anyone out while they are still "finding their fit".

Speaking on Heart Bingo, she spoke on who she thought would be first out, saying:"That’s another tough one! I’d say Nick Knowles or Paul Merson, probably. It’ll be between the pair of them this weekend.

"Wynne Evans wasn’t that convincing either. I wasn’t really sold by any of them – you can be a bad dancer but still believe in your routine and entertain the audience, but none of them really did it for me.

"It’s a bit unfair because it’s only the first week and everyone’s still finding their feet but someone has to go," she finished.

Vanessa previously took part in the eleventh series of the hit BBC competition in 2013 and was partnered with James Jordan who got in hot water recently when a clip resurfaced of him calling partner Georgina Bouzova "fat" went viral.

The former TalkTV host was the second star to be eliminated in the competition.

Defending James, former TalkTV star Vanessa said: "I'm astounded by what's been released. It was put deliberately together by the BBC to feature on It Takes Two.

"So anybody who thinks that this is mysterious footage of James Jordan that has suddenly come to light and shows him in the same kind of category as Giovanni Pernice or Graziano Di Prima, both of whom are now no longer associated with the programme, is quite wrong."

Recalling working with James, she added: "James Jordan was unbelievable to work with on strictly.

"Poor thing he got me, it was really the short straw the short, chubby non dancing straw, it really was.

"And he was completely magnificent to me. He was incredibly funny, kind, patient, amazingly hard working, and very, very, very, very nice."

Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima were sacked amid an investigation into abuse allegations and behaviour in rehearsals.

Today the verdict of the bombshell BBC probe into Strictly's Giovanni Pernice's behaviour during his time partnered with Sherlock star Amanda Abbington has been published - with the professional cleared of abusive behaviour.

After six months of investigating the Sherlock actress's claims that he was "abusive, cruel and mean", they have finally found he was not abusive, nor did he make threats, nor was he intimidating.

They also said there was no aggressive or physical conduct.

Out of 17 allegations, they upheld six, some of which are for Giovanni using swear words. The report says that his language could be "belittling".
