Princess Anne shows true colours with hilarious Christmas present for King Charles
The Princess Royal has always been said to have a good sense of humour.

Princess Anne and King Charles are known to get on very well, with the Princess Royal always willing to support her brother in any way possible. However, while they have a supportive relationship, there is also a playful bond and shared sense of humour that flows between them.
While this has been seen many times over the years, including in behind-the-scenes footage from the King’s 2023 Coronation day when Anne was heard calling her brother "old bean", it has also been shown in private family moments. One of these was during the Christmas period at Sandringham.
It has been reported that Anne, 75, once brought Charles, 76, his very own white leather toilet seat for Christmas.

Although it is common for members of the Royal Family to give each other silly presents for Christmas rather than extravagant ones, this present in particular was very amusing.
Speaking on Channel 4's 2020 documentary A Very Royal Christmas: Sandringham Secrets, royal expert Katie Nicholl explained that presents exchanged by royals are supposed to be cheap gag gifts.
Dickie Arbiter, a former royal press secretary, then shared the story of why Anne gave her older brother such a gift before he became King.
Arbiter said: "What is it we used to call the loo? We would call it the throne. You go and sit on the throne.”

He continued: "So buying a leather-bound loo seat was really Princess Anne's way of saying, 'Here you are, you've got your own personal throne'."
It is not known what present The Princess Royal plans to gift her elder brother this year, however it is likely they will enjoy spending time together over the holiday period.
The King will, as usual, be hosting Christmas festivities with Queen Camilla on their private Sandringham estate.
It is not yet known exactly what royals will be in attendance for the big day.
