Prince Harry has issued a grovelling apology to the Canadian public after he was seen wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers cap during the 2025 World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays last week.

The couple were seen cheering on the LA Dodgers and wearing hats in a show of support.

Asked by CTV News about the incident, Harry apologised, joking that he was “under duress” during the game and there was not much that he could do.

Prince William set hearts racing while on his trip to Brazil after royal fans got swept away by one key detail during one of his engagements. The Prince of Wales has been undertaking various engagements in the South American country since his arrival on Monday.

On Tuesday, he visited the Brazilian island retreat of Paquetá, where he took a boat tour of the Guapimirim mangrove area, a preserved and protected natural beauty spot in northeast Brazil's picturesque Guanabara Bay.

While there, the future King, who was dressed casually in dark trousers, a green shirt and brown combat boots, planted three saplings with the guardians and said: “I hope they grow well. Next time I come all this will all be mangroves.”

However, it appears that William’s efforts at the planting activity did not go unnoticed by royal fans.

King Charles has made it clear to nieces Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie that they have to “stand on their own two feet” amid a financial overhaul and following Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s latest scandal, a royal author has claimed.

Author Robert Jobson has weighed in on the King’s efforts to “make changes that he hopes will keep the monarchy fit for generations to come” since ascending to the throne in 2022.

Those changes include having non-working members of the Firm, such as Beatrice and Eugenie, pay their own way in a bid to stop them from using royal residences as “subsidised accommodation”.

Meghan Markle has made the decision to return to acting and royal fans had one thing to say. 

The Duchess of Sussex made headlines on Wednesday evening after it emerged that she had been spotted filming the film Close Personal Friends in Pasadena, LA, playing herself on the set at Amazon MGM Studios.

Sir Keir Starmer has said that it is Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's decision whether he decides to give evidence to a US congressional committee, after Democrats summoned him to answer questions as part of their investigation into paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Asked about the development by the travelling UK media in Brazil, where he is attending the COP30 summit, the Prime Minister said: "Well, in the end, it's a matter for him personally. My view, and this is not about the individual case, more broadly, is that anybody who has relevant information should always be willing to give it to whatever inquiries need that information.

"But the individual decision is a matter for him."

The Duchess of Sussex dominated headlines on Wednesday evening, hours before Prince William’s major speech at the Earthshot Prize Awards in Brazil, when it emerged that she is finally making a comeback to acting after she was spotted filming a new movie in Los Angeles.

Now, a PR expert has criticised the Duchess and her team for blowing the news out of proportion, particularly on a day of such significance due to William’s appearance in Brazil.

Queen Camilla appeared to be overcome with emotion today as she attended the 97th Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey.

Her Majesty, as Patron of the Poppy Factory, attended the event on Thursday to pay her respects to those who have lost their lives in war.

At the event today, Camilla planted a Cross of Remembrance and observed the two-minute silence.

The Royal Family will put up a united front for a major event next week, but Princess Kate will be absent. 

King Charles and Queen Camilla will be joined by the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Gloucester next Tuesday, November 11, for a poignant reception at Windsor Castle for veterans who served in World War 2 and their families in honour of the 80th Anniversary of VJ Day, Buckingham Palace announced.

But the Princess of Wales’s name was nowhere to be seen, and there may be a good reason behind it.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been asked to appear before the US Congress for questioning over his links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Robert Garcia, the most senior Democratic member of the US congressional panel, said: “Rich and powerful men have evaded justice for far too long.

Now, former Prince Andrew has the opportunity to come clean and provide justice for the survivors. Oversight Democrats will not stop fighting for accountability and transparency for survivors of Epstein and his gang of co-conspirators.”

The formal request, sent via a letter asking Andrew to appear before the US Congress, came just days after the disgraced royal was stripped of his titles and honours due to his links to Epstein. Aside from Congressman Garcia, the letter was co-signed by 13 other Democratic committee members.

Prince William avoided a question about “change” in the Royal Family during his 2025 Earthshot Prize ceremony yesterday in Brazil.

The Prince of Wales, 43, stepped out for The Earthshot Prize on Wednesday in Rio De Janeiro to celebrate the award winners of the prize - a project he founded in 2020 to help improve the state of the planet.

At the event, William sat down on stage for a candid conversation about Earthshot with CNN's Christiane Amanpour. As well as being asked various questions about his environmental project, William also found himself being asked about current changes in the Royal Family.

Prince William said it was “a privilege” to step into his father’s shoes and give a keynote speech at COP30 today, where he warned climate change is “not a distant threat”. 

Addressing world leaders at the climate summit in Belem, a Brazilian city described as the gateway to the Amazon, he noted that communities around the world - including in the UK - are already feeling the effects of rising temperatures.

William, who is attending COP on behalf of his father, King Charles, said: “Communities around the world are already facing rising seas, extreme heat, wildfires, floods, droughts and increasing frequency of extreme weather. We saw the disastrous impact of simultaneous floods, fires and droughts in Brazil in 2023. Just this year, I visited the Welsh town of Pontypridd with my wife, Catherine, where the community is still recovering from devastating floods.”

Prince Harry has sent an emotional letter to bereaved military children ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

The Duke of Sussex is the global ambassador of Scotty's Little Soldiers and used his annual letter to remind the youngsters that they are not alone and that he was standing beside them.

Ahead of Remembrance weekend, the prince said, "As Remembrance approaches, I wanted to write and let you know how incredibly proud we all are of you. This time of year can bring a lot of emotions – pride, love, and sometimes sadness – as you remember your parent or loved one who served our country."

King Charles has formally stripped Andrew Mountbatten Windsor of his Prince title and HRH style by issuing a Letters Patent. 

Details of the Letters Patent have been published by the Crown Office in The Gazette, the UK’s official public record.

The entry read: "THE KING has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 3 November 2025 to declare that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor shall no longer be entitled to hold and enjoy the style, title or attribute of 'Royal Highness' and the titular dignity of 'Prince'."

The countdown for the first-ever Celebrity Traitors final is on - with the gripping episode airing on BBC One tomorrow night (Thursday, October 6) at 9pm. The series has been attracting millions of viewers with every episode, and everyone is eager to know if Alan Carr and Cat Burns will win as Traitors or if the Faithful will be the victors. He claimed the "best" Traitor would be Meghan Markle, who has been part of the royal family since marrying Prince Harry in 2018. Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Darren shared: "Coming in at the top spot, I’d say Megan would make the best Traitor. A lot of that comes from her background as an actress; she’s highly skilled at presenting a character, maintaining a story, and adapting to different situations."

Meghan Markle has left fans surprised today after it was revealed on Wednesday that she is making a return to acting. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, will be playing a “small role” as herself in the movie Close Personal Friends.

While Meghan hasn’t publicly addressed this, she has already been on the set of the Amazon MGM Studios’ movie in California. This comes eight years after she left the acting world to pursue a relationship with Prince Harry, who at the time was still a working royal.

Prince William was joined on the green carpet of the 2025 Earthshot Awards Ceremony by a string of stars last night. Marking his final even in Brazil, the Prince of Wales was joined in Rio de Janeiro by A-listers Kylie Minogue and Shawn Mendes.

The royal greeted the singers inside the Museum of Tomorrow – a spectacular waterfront venue for the glittering environmental celebration. William, who re-wore a Tom Ford tuxedo and black tie for the occasion, looked relaxed and happy to be back celebrating at the fifth annual ceremony.

Kylie was introduced to the Prince, 43, and was overheard describing his Earthshot Prize as “amazing people doing incredible things”.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was in first place, followed by Prince William, ex-footballer, Thierry Henry, actor, Jason Statham and at fifth place, tv host, RuPaul.

Prince Andrew is set to face an "awkward" situation when he next meets his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, following the loss of his Royal titles amid ongoing scrutiny over his association with Jeffrey Epstein. The Duke of York, 65, had already relinquished his title and stepped back from public duties after a disastrous Newsnight interview in 2019 where he faced backlash over his ties to Epstein.

Now, having been stripped of his Royal status, the Daily Mail's Ephraim Hardcastle column suggests that Andrew will find himself in a tricky position when he next encounters his daughters, who are expected to retain their own Royal ranks. The columnist notes: "Andrew, reduced to the rank of commoner, finds himself in the awkward position of having to bow to the rest of the family - including his own daughters."

Meghan Markle has posted multiple insights into her family's home life with the couple's children featuring in many posts, but it is claimed Prince Harry is "not loving" his wife posting images that feature their children.

A source told outlet Page Six: "He's very aware of her parading him around. He doesn't love the social media displays." The source added: "The shine has worn off, which is fair at this point in a relationship."

King Charles' long-serving employees in the Royal Household have detected a big 'change' in the monarch's temperament, a royal author has claimed.

Charles has been king for just over three years after being the longest heir apparent in the UK's history.

Not long into his reign the monarch was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer, which according to royal expert Robert Jobson has led to a marked change in his behaviour.

Writing in new book The Windsor Legacy: A Royal Dynasty of Secrets, Scandal and Survival, he says: "Indeed, his longer-serving staff have detected a change in their employer, whom they feel could occasionally seem rather cold.

"He's now become more emotional, they say."

Prince William’s trip to Brazil has revealed a striking evolution in his personal style, and it seems he may be following in the fashionable footsteps of his wife, Princess Kate.

While the Princess of Wales, 43, has long used fashion as a subtle but powerful tool of communication, royal watchers are noticing that William’s wardrobe is beginning to speak volumes of its own. Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance via video message at Prince William's Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony last night.In his prerecorded message, the Hollywood star apologised for not being in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate, but congratulated the evening's winners and every finalist.

The actor said in a video message: “Good evening Rio, my dear friend your royal highness…I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person to celebrate with you all but I wanted to take a moment to congratulate tonight’s winners and to congratulate every finalist, and thank you for all the great work you’re doing."

Meghan Markle has said that she is “over the moon” after Oprah Winfrey selected one of her As Ever products to be featured in her Favourite Things list for 2025. The Duchess of Sussex is known to have been close with the TV guru for a few years now, and it was she who Meghan and Prince Harry gave their infamous 2021 interview to after they quit their royal duties.

Meghan and Oprah, who are also neighbours in Montecito, California, have been snapped together on multiple occasions. Last year, the TV star featured one of Meghan’s gifts in her favourites list, and this year, she backed her pal again as one of her As Ever gift boxes was featured prominently in the 2025 list.

King Charles showcased his signature wit today as he spoke about the “endless screws and plates in his arm” while visiting veterans at a medical centre in London. The King paid a visit to Chatfield Health Care (CHC), in the south-west of the capital and spoke to former armed forces personnel about their experiences and the vital help they receive through the tailored veteran-friendly programme.

One of the veterans was David Wiggins, whose left arm was in a cast and who told the King that he had three plates in his arm. The King joked while giving an update about his health: “I've got endless plates and screws in my arm as well.

“All that's left of you when you drop dead is 'Made in Switzerland’.”

Powerful, impactful, and optimistic were just some of the phrases used to describe the Prince of Wales’s speech last night. Addressing a room packed full of environmental innovators, William underscored his growing role as a global statesman by urging businesses, politicians and civil society to come together and tackle the climate crisis head on.

“The issues that continue to face our world are a threat to all of us, but when we unite, our momentum is unstoppable,” he said. William is using language to focus on the good that can be done, using the winners of his Earthshot Prize to highlight that progress is possible - it’s not all doom and gloom.

Prince Harry started his visit to Canada to mark Remembrance week yesterday, just hours before his brother, Prince William attendedthis year’s Earthshot Prize awards in Brazil. The Duke of Sussex headed to Toronto on Wednesday, where he spent time with members of Canada’s Reserve Forces.

Harry met with soldiers from two Army Reserve units, the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada and the Royal Regiment of Canada, and spoke to them about their recent deployments and ongoing contributions to Canadian military operations worldwide. He also learned about the training efforts for the Armed Forces and how regiment members continue to deploy on operations.
