King Charles has been urged by royal fans to not arrange a meeting with Prince Harry next week. The Duke of Sussex, who has been feuding with the Royal Family for a number of years, will return to the UK next Monday to attend the annual WellChild awards in London.

The royal's visit to the UK has sparked speculation over whether a meeting with King Charles will happen - but fans have urged the monarch against this idea due to the fact he "cannot be trusted".

In a poll conducted by Express.co.uk - which ran between 8am on September 21 to 12.30pm on September 23 - showed 4,763 people had participated.

Eighty-one percent of fans who participated in the poll said that they believe the King should not meet with his youngest son, as opposed to 17 percent who feel that the father and son should make time to reunite.

In the comment section, many fan highlighted the lack of trust as the main reason why the King shouldn't meet with Harry.

One fan commented: "The King can gain nothing from a grasping mean person. [He is] better to stay apart so less damage can be done. [Harry] cannot be trusted. That will never change. So save the grief. Please remove h from the line of succession."

Another wrote: "Nobody in the family can have a conversation as [Harry] is untrustworthy. That can never be removed. He betrayed his family so best to cut losses and sever all ties."

Referring to a lack of trust, a third fan commented: "Only if [the King] wants everything that was said leaked to the Media..."

Although Harry is set to make a return to the UK next week, Meghan Markle and their two children are not set to join him on the visit. Prince Harry is last known to have seen his father in person back in February, a meeting which occured shortly after the King's cancer diagnosis was made public.
