Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are "living separate lives" as the Duke figures out what is in store for his future, it has been claimed.

The couple are usually inseparable but since Harry's lads holiday with friends to mark his 40th birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly spent time apart.

Speaking to The Sun, royal expert Phil Dampier claimed Harry is taking an independent approach to appearances.

He told the publication: "It is significant that he is doing so much on his own now. They are living more separate lives as it looks like Harry is trying to carve out what exactly his future is. I suspect Harry has been feeling very much like a spare part."

Discussing Harry's potential intentions and what the future may possibly look like, he added: "He wants more fulfilling roles for himself so we may well be seeing more of him here."
