Nightmare for Prince Andrew facing eviction reality after King Charles 'picks replacement'
King Charles reportedly plans to move Prince Edward into Royal Lodge as Prince Andrew faces eviction from the Windsor mansion.
King Charles has reportedly made a decision on who will move into Royal Lodge once Prince Andrew departs, as the disgraced Duke of York faces increasing pressure to vacate the Windsor mansion.
Despite Andrew's determination to hold onto the residence he has shared with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, for more than 20 years, it appears his days at the Lodge may be numbered.
The disgraced royal, who signed a 75-year lease on Royal Lodge more than two decades ago, has been resisting efforts to relocate to a smaller property such as Frogmore Cottage.
In a bid to hasten his departure, King Charles has already removed Andrew’s security detail and is said to be ramping up efforts to have him leave the estate.

According to reports, King Charles has already lined up Andrew’s replacement at Royal Lodge, a move that could be seen as particularly stinging for the Duke of York.
Prince Edward, King Charles’s youngest brother, and his wife, Sophie, who are the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, are reportedly set to move into the property.
This decision is said to be a reward for their increased royal duties and public service, especially during a challenging year for the Royal Family.
With both King Charles and Princess Kate undergoing cancer treatment, Prince Edward and Sophie have stepped up significantly, taking on a greater number of engagements and filling in for the senior royals.
Their commitment and service have not gone unnoticed by the King.
Royal expert Richard Kay said: “Charles has entertained the thought of offering Royal Lodge to his youngest brother, Prince Edward."

He added: “The two haven't always seen eye-to-eye, but the king has been hugely impressed by the manner in which Edward and his wife, Sophie, have increased their workload since their elevation to Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.”
Sophie, in particular, has become a favourite among the public and is known for her close relationship with the Princess of Wales, stemming in part from their shared experience of not being born into the aristocracy.
The move comes amid reports that Prince Andrew had declined the offer to relocate to Frogmore Cottage, a property formerly inhabited by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Instead, it appears Andrew might prefer the more secluded Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate.
