King Charles's niece is often spotted at carriage driving competitions after she made her debut in the sport three years ago. Her passion for carriage driving was sparked by the late Prince Philip, her grandfather, who adored the sport.

The Sandringham trials first started in 1982 by Louise's grandfather, who wanted to bring one of his most liked sports to one of his favourite places and it always takes place over the weekend after Royal Ascot.

He shared a special bond with Lady Louise because of the sport, and left her his carriage when he died in 2021.

Lady Louise even paid tribute to her grandfather's admiration for the sport by taking part in a carriage-driving event in April last year, on the weekend of the anniversary of his death.

The eldest child of Prince Edward and Sophie prefers to keep out of the spotlight when it comes to attending royal events, and chooses not to use her HM title - but she was pictured attending Trooping the Colour 2024.

Louise made a rare public appearance last month and accompanied the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh to Trooping the Colour in support of the King's official birthday parade.

The Trooping of the Colour on June 15 marked the official birthday of the British Sovereign. Over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians came together in a great display of military precision, horsemanship, and fanfare

Wearing a white and lilac floral dress by Suzannah and a Jane Taylor hat, Louise was snapped during the carriage procession and on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

She captured the attention of fans, with one writing: "Lady Louise is growing up into stunning young woman. I can't wait to see what she does with her life."

Eagle-eyed royal fans also noticed that Louise was wearing the same dress that she wore to the King's Coronation last year, while the hat was borrowed from her mother.
