Prince Harry to receive Pat Tillman Award for Service

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been blasted by a royal expert who claimed the couple are trying to buy the public's respect through good PR and "collecting trophies for their mantle".

The Duke of Sussex has been at the centre of discussions recently after he was criticised for being nominated for the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for Service at a ceremony in Hollywood this month, with even a petition being set up urging the awards organisers, ESPN, to rethink their decision.

Now a royal commentator has slammed the Montecito couple, saying that "collecting trophies" is part of their "game", however, they stressed that "the public see through these decisions".

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Talk TV: "I see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accepting more trophies for awards that I don't understand what they're for, than this life of service that they promised us. How many awards did Meghan accept for her podcast that was cancelled and slammed by her own network?"

She added: "This is all a game to them [Harry and Meghan]. I guess they're trying to buy the public's respect, they're trying to buy good PR through networking and creating these opportunities to collect trophies for their mantle, but I think the public sees through these individuals."

Harry and Meghan's final insult to late Queen that caused heartbreak

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly upset the Queen with their decision to name their daughter Lilibet, after her family nickname.

Royal protocol dictates members of the Royal Family usually share their baby's name with the monarch before going public with it.

Author Robert Hardman cited a member of the late Queen's household in his book Charles III: New King, New Court. The Inside Story, where he stated: "One privately recalled that Elizabeth II had been 'as angry as I'd ever seen her' in 2021 after the Sussexes announced she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter 'Lilibet'."

Prince Harry backlash over award leads ESPN to issue statement defending decision

The decision to award Prince Harry the Pat Tillman Award has received so much backlash that ESPN have issued a statement to defend their decision.

A petition has even begun urging the sporting channel to rethink their decision.

ESPN said in a statement: "ESPN, with the support of the Tillman Foundation, is honouring Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, specifically for the work of The Invictus Games Foundation as it celebrates its 10th year promoting healing through the power of sport for military service members and veterans around the world.

"While we understand not everyone will agree with all honorees selected for any award, The Invictus Games Foundation does incredible work and ESPN believes this is a cause worth celebrating."

Meghan Markle struggling to secure one thing for her lifestyle brand as launch 'delayed'

Meghan Markle's new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard has yet to launch any products for the public to buy.

Branding expert Lucie Green told Fabulous Magazine about why this could be happening.

She said: "I imagine the pop-ups and the seeding, and a series of dinners will continue until some kind of official launch.

"It could be that she's still courting investment. If the brand is direct to consumer, versus wholesale, there will need to be a substantial marketing budget for consumer acquisition."

Prince William's 'last-minute text to Prince Harry' that sparked royal ceasefire

Prince William's "last-minute text to Prince Harry" sparked a royal ceasefire in the aftermath of the late Queen's death.

The pair have been estranged for several years now but they shocked the world with a temporary truce two years ago.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth, the warring brothers and their wives presented a united front for the public.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were joined by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to view floral tributes and meet members of the public who had gathered to pay their respects.

While many theories about the surprise walkabout were circulated at the time, it soon emerged that Prince William had sent a final-hour text to Prince Harry inviting him and Meghan Markle to join him and Kate on the Long Walk in Windsor.

However, while Kate was making her first public appearance at Trooping the Colour last month, her brother-in-law, the Duke of Sussex, was not present.

Late Queen's secret letter that revealed how she felt about Prince Harry's UK security

A secret letter has revealed the late Queen Elizabeth II considered it "imperative" that her grandson, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle kept "effective" security after stepping down as senior working royals, court documents have shown.

The late Queen's most senior aide told a Home Office committee that keeping the Sussexes safe was of "paramount importance" to Queen Elizabeth and her family.

After the famous 'Sandringham Summit' Sir Edward Young wrote to Sir Mark Sedwill, the then Cabinet Secretary, to explain what had been decided.

The letter which appeared in court documents last December, according to the Telegraph, revealed Sir Edward, who wrote on behalf of the Palace made the case for Harry's continued "effective security" after leaving the Royal Family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have left stark reminder in UK over gaping royal feud

Frogmore Cottage remains empty, one year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially left the five-bedroom property.

While King Charles is widely reported to be trying to get Prince Andrew to move into the Windsor residence, a commentator noted the emptiness of the house is "symbolic".

Appearing on the Royal Report programme on Sky News Australia, writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue said: "There is something symbolic about the fact that that house remains empty.

"People are saying this is representative of everything that could have been with Harry and Meghan and how they could have contributed to the Royal Family, but there are also questions about whether actually it was ever meant to be."

Prince William's Taylor Swift selfie proves one major thing about him and Princess Kate

The Prince of Wales's selfie with Taylor Swift proves Prince William and Princess Kate are "triple-A celebs", as a "new Royal Family" emerges, a royal expert has claimed.

William went viral on social media on Friday, June 21, after he was spotted attending the US superstar's first concert at London's Wembley Stadium on his birthday, joined by his two eldest children, Prince George, 10 and Princess Charlotte, nine.

Later, Travis and Jason talked on their podcast about how it was an "absolute delight" to meet the royals, with Travis stressing: "Obviously we're backstage meeting him, he was there with little George and Charlotte. They were an absolute delight to meet. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, be an American idiot and shake their hand."

Now a royal expert touched down on how significant this meeting was for the Prince and Princess of Wales's image.

Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's huge cost to keep £12m mansion running

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's costly upkeep of their lavish home in Montecito, California, has been analysed by a real estate expert who described the property as similar to a "small boutique hotel".

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their dream mansion shortly after quitting the Royal Family and moving to the US in 2020.

Harry and Meghan's Montecito luxury abode boasts a total of five acres of land, featuring nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a pool and a tennis court, as well as extensive gardens and its own chicken coop which the couple have named "Archie’s Chick Inn".

Now a real estate expert has touched down on the running costs of the huge £12million home, claiming that it must cost thousands of pounds every year just to look after it.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won't be welcomed back as working royals 'for key reason'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not shown any interest in being working royals, but if that were to change, it would take a lot of work to win over the public.

It seems like things have quieted down when it comes to Spare and the six-part Netflix series - which led to their popularity plummeting in the UK - but there are still hurt feelings.

GB News presenter Cameron Walker talked about the possibility of Harry and Meghan making their return to the Royal Family as working royals and that it would go beyond King Charles because Harry and Meghan “consistently poll at the bottom.”
