Royal fans say the same thing as Princess Diana's niece reveals daughter's name

Kitty Spencer welcomed her baby daughter back in March - and she's finally revealed the little one's adorable name.

Royal fans are all saying the same thing as Princess Diana's niece Kitty Spencer finally revealed the name of her baby daughter.

Taking to Instagram on June 30, the royal shared her daughter's name via a sweet black-and-white post.

The 33-year-old can be seen looking out of a window as she holds her daughter, whose birth she confirmed through a post on Mother's Day in March.

In yesterday's post, Kitty shared that her daughter's name is Athena, as reported by the Mirror. Kitty welcomed Athena with her husband, Michael Lewis.

Captioning the black-and-white shot, Kitty wrote: "Athena watching the world go by [white-heart emoji]."

Royal fans appeared delighted by the name, with one fan commenting: "What a beautiful name and photo."

Another fan commented: "Such a beautiful name!"

A third replied to the subtle announcement with: "Athena is so gorgeous!! Like her mama."

Lady Kitty Spencer is the daughter of Princess Diana's brother Charles Spencer and his former wife Victoria Aiken.

Back in March, to celebrate Mother's Day, Kitty shared a sweet picture holding her young daughter on a beach. Alongside the picture she captioned: "It’s the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one. I love you unconditionally. Happy Mother's Day to those who celebrate today."

At the time, many fans didn't even know Kitty had been pregnant, with one user commenting on the image: "I didn't know you became a mum, congratulations."
