Meghan Markle channels Kate in sweet snap of Archie and Prince Harry
MEGHAN MARKLE took a leaf out of Kate’s book as she was the photographer behind the latest sweet snap of Prince Harry and Archie shared on Instagram by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a source claimed.
Meghan Markle and Harry: Couple say royals took their photo
Meghan took the picture shared on New Year’s Eve on Sussex Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’ official Instagram account, a royal insider told People magazine. In the picture, shared as part of a one-minute clip gathering the best moments of 2019 for Meghan and Harry, little Archie can be seen smiling in the arms of his father.
The seven-month-old baby is wearing a grey pom-pom hat by Make Give Live, gifted to the Sussexes in New Zealand during their tour Down Under.
In the snap, Archie also wears a Boden Sprout cord jacket, grey jeans and little Ugg boots given to Meghan and Harry by Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife Lynne, just hours after they announced the pregnancy.
Kate has famously taken many of the pictures of her three children later used to mark milestone birthdays and important dates.
Kensington Palace shared in late December an intimate black-and-white snap taken by the Duchess of Cambridge showing Prince William giving a kiss on Prince Louis’s cheek, Prince George sitting on a chair and Princess Charlotte proudly standing between her two brothers.
Kate also took the pictures of Prince George shared by Kensington Palace on July 22, the six-year-old’s birthday, showing the young Cambridge wearing an England jersey.
The picture allegedly taken by Meghan is believed to be set in Vancouver, where the family-of-three spent their first Christmas together.
The royals were in the company of Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, while Kate, William and their three children spent Christmas with the Queen and Prince Philip at Sandringham House.

On December 25, Charlotte and George even debuted at St Mary Magdalene Church, the chapel regularly attended by the Queen when she is in Norfolk.
While in Canada, Meghan and Harry shared another picture of Archie.
The royals decided not to share a traditional Christmas card but rather to send an e-card, an environmentally conscious choice.
In their e-card, Meghan and Harry smile while sitting on the floor in front of a tree.
Their son Archie, however, took the centre stage, crawling in front of the camera with a curious look.
The Sussexes have been spotted in Vancouver on New Year’s Day, while they were taking a stroll at a regional park.
Loved-up couple Iliya Pavlovic and Asymina Kantorowicz revealed the Duchess of Sussex offered to take a picture of them after noticing they were struggling with a selfie stick.
The pair, who didn’t recognise neither Meghan or Harry at first, described the Duchess as “super friendly”.
Ms Kantorowicz said: “I actually couldn’t believe who it was.
“Then I looked over to the side and that’s when I realised Prince Harry was standing there.
“I kept looking back and forth like, ‘Is this actually happening?’.”

Not wanting to remain silent in front of her extraordinary photographer, the producer decided to joke about the selfie stick.
She continued: “In that moment the only thing I could think to say, ‘there’s only so much that selfie sticks can do’.
“She laughed and responded with something like, ‘We’ll have to do better,’ and then Harry said, ‘No pressure’.”
