Meghan Markle’s New Year photo of Harry and Archie revealed a cute detail everyone missed
MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry thrilled millions of Royal fans by kicking off 2020 with an adorable unseen photo of their son Archie on holiday in Canada, but there is one cute detail hidden which everyone missed.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share their highlights of 2019
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a snap of the Duke of Sussex holding Archie Harrison, who is wrapped up head-to-toe in preparation for the freezing temperatures. The picture came at the start of a video looking back at the past 12 months on their official Instagram page, sussexroyal, which currently has more than 10 million followers. The adorable snap is taken in front of a picturesque lake among a backdrop of mountains and blue skies, with Royal fans delighted by the casual and relaxed feel of the photo.
Archie looks super smart in a brown coat, grey trousers and Ugg boots, but it’s the cute hat he is wearing that is worth closer inspection.
The sleek bobble hat is from Make Give Live, a New Zealand-based social enterprise which aims to help people in need.
For every hat bought, another is donated to someone who needs it in the country.
The hat was given to Meghan and Harry by someone from Make Give Live when the Duke and Duchess toured the country at the end of 2018, and clearly it is a firm favourite of the Royal couple.
We are so happy to see that the gorgeous little Make Give Live hat that Archie got before he was born has kept his head warm this year
The photo of Archie and Harry on Instagram was also accompanied with the caption: “We are so happy to see that the gorgeous little Make Give Live hat that Archie got before he was born has kept his head warm this year.
“Beautiful NZ Merino in the cutest ever style, even better is that his beanie has ensured that the head of someone in real need in NZ was kept warm too. Go Archie!”
Make Give Live has been inundated with orders since the photo was shared with the Instagram page’s 10 million followers.
Claire Conza, who co-founded the organisation three years ago alongside her business partner Claire Conza, told stuff.co.nz: “The orders are just flying in like crazy.

“I’m getting multiple orders a second. We’d made thousands of dollars before 8am this morning and we’ve sold out of all the stock that we had of that style (the Cocobear).”
A person involved with Meghan and Harry’s tour of New Zealand approached Make Give Live for a hat to gift to the royal couple when the Duchess was heavily pregnant with Archie.
But Ms Conza admitted she wasn’t even sure Meghan and Harry would receive the hat because of strict rules around what kinds of gifts the Royal Family can accept.
She confessed to stuff.co.nz: “I’d kind of almost forgotten about it until yesterday.”

The Make Give Live co-founder thought the organisation would appeal to the Duke and duchess of Sussex because of their commitment to mental health advocacy.
But she admitted she “never imagined” that the Royal couple would provider her social enterprise with such a significant global platform.
An overwhelmed Ms Conza added: “I almost can’t even comprehend what it means.”
Meghan and Harry spent Christmas Day with the Duchess’ mother Doria in Canada instead of traditionally spending the festive period with the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess took seven-month-old Archie with them for an “extended holiday break”, after revealing in an October interview during their tour of Africa how they were struggling to deal with life in the public eye.
They spent New Year’s Eve at a waterfront mansion valued at £10million, understood to belong to a Russian oligarch.
Alongside the adorable picture of Archie, Meghan and Harry also posted a message which read: “Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and thanking you for your continued support!
“We’ve loved meeting so many of you from around the world and can’t wait to meet many more of you next year.
“We hope 2020 brings each of you health and continued happiness.”
