People have been rushing to sing its praises in the reviews, with one happy customer writing: "Very easy to put together. Took less than five minutes.

"It has been in my garden for last two weeks in all weather and everything is still dry inside. Good storage space and I will be buying another. It is so sturdy that it would easily hold a person sitting on it."

Another agreed: "Great product, so easy to set up and no screws, just slotted together perfectly, very sturdy as I am not small and I sat on it no issues. Loads of storage space."

Wickes sells the Shire Shiplap Timber Storage Box for £123 (down from the original price of £140) in a chic honey brown colour - but it's worth considering whether that would wear a bit harder outdoors than a plastic version.
