Monty Don inundated with support as he shares career news away from Gardeners' World
Gardeners' World presenter Monty Don delighted fans as he issued an exciting career update online.
Monty Don was "delighted" to share a career update with his followers. The Gardeners' World star issued the announcement on Friday (June 14) on Instagram.
The presenter revealed that he will be appearing at Kew Gardens on the evening of July 8 to talk about a 30-year long project.
The 68-year-old told his followers: "I am delighted to announce that I will be appearing at Kew to talk about this garden that I've made over the last 30 years and the many gardens I've visited all around the world."
Monty shared a further update with fans, announcing he will be going on tour at the end of the year. He added: "And then in November I shall be doing a tour, visiting towns and cities right across the UK, and in Ireland. So join me then. I very much hope to see you there."

Fans couldn't contain their excitement as they flocked to the comments to reveal they had already booked their tickets. One wrote: "Matinée booked already in Cambridge (for my birthday!)"
Another said: "Have my ticket for Ireland booked and so looking forward to it!" A third declared: "Already booked on the Cambridge show!"
Someone else commented: "We're in Shetland would love for you to visit one day. You have been an inspiration for me starting my garden."
Others begged the broadcaster to take his tour Down Under, with one writing: "So wish i could attend..but a tad too far.. please, please do a tour of Australia." Echoing this, another queried: "Ok but when are you coming to Australia? Sunshine Coast."

It comes after Monty shared a cryptic post following months of speculation that he is leaving Gardeners' World after 21 years. The gardener has hosted the BBC series since 2003, taking over from Alan Titchmarsh.
Taking to Instagram, the dad-of-three shared a photo of his garden with his pet dog Ned in full view. He simply captioned the picture: "Standing at the crossroads."
Monty sparked Gardeners' World exit rumours after announcing overseas work back in April. He announced that his American followers can now order his latest book after it was released in the UK last year.
