Sir Roger Moore hints at Bond super film starring himself Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan
VETERAN Bond legend Sir Roger Moore has revealed an 'Expendables' style movie in which he teams up with other 007 actors in on the cards.
The 89-year-old star said movie bosses hope to line him up with Sean Connery, 84, George Lazenby, 75, Timothy Dalton, 71, and Pierce Brosnan, 62.
According to the Sun, the film would follow a similar format to that of The Expendables, which starred action movie legends Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis.
However, producers are struggling to convince Sean – who retired from making movies in 2006 – to take part.
Sir Roger revealed: "I’d be up for it. But Sean balked at the idea as I don’t think he wanted to be associated with Bond any more.
"But I’d need about ten stunt doubles."
Roger is the longest-serving James Bond, having starred in seven of the famous spy films.
Despite starring in his fair share of hair-raising moments on screen, the actor said he now prefers to stay away from violent thrillers.
Sir Roger, who is releasing a bedtime stories app, Giving Tales, said: "I watched Scarface recently and it’s so violent.
"I suppose I’m a little old-fashioned but I like traditional fairytales. It’s why I’m involved in this app."
