Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been tipped to follow in the footsteps of Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage following Thursday's (July 4) General Election. Should he fail to be re-elected Prime Minister he could be donning his khakis and heading to the jungle.

Betting experts have speculated that he will appear on reality TV picking I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here rather than Strictly Come Dancing. The Ant and Dec fronted I'm A Celebrity has previously proved a good platform for politicians to show the public their true personas.

The latest MRP poll of more than 30,000 people predicts the Tories will be left with just 64 MPs. Meanwhile, Sir Keir Starmer's Labour Party will win an unprecedented landslide of 484 constituencies.

Should the figures prove correct this would leave Mr Sunak seeking new challenges having been ousted as Prime Minister. With that in mind, betting experts at sportscasting.com have given odds for his potential next move.

One option is that he will leave politics completely with odds of 2/1 available. This would free him up to take part in any TV project he wished.

It is also specuaated that he could join his father in law's Infosys firm with odds of 9/1 available on that option.

His odds of appearing on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here are 25/1. This compares to odds of 33/1 to appear on either ITV's Celebrity Big Brother or BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

However, it is also possible he could carve out his own media career with odds of 14/1 that he will get his own radio show and the same for a TV show.

It is also speculated that he could return to the USA with odds of 8/1 available for that bet.

“With Rishi Sunak’s days numbered and a big Labour election win on the cards, it’s hard to think the PM will stay on as Tory leader, despite recently saying he might," Sportscasting.com spokesman Andy Newton said.

“A return to business, either in his father-in-law's Infosys firm or with a hedge fund, look obvious routes.

"However, with politicians Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage recent campmates on I’m A Celebrity, maybe the hit ITV show will splash the ‘Dingo Dollars’ on getting the former PM.

"I bet he’d pick up more ‘votes’ than the election when it comes to doing the bushtucker trials!" he quipped.
