Monty Don fans say same thing as he shares update after sparking concern
Gardeners' World presenter Monty Don shared an update on his beloved dog after fans grew concerned about his safety.
Monty Don had fans saying the same thing as he issued a new update. The British horticulturist and broadcaster, 68, is known for his love of dogs and regularly shares the screen with them.
Golden Retriever Ned and Yorkshire Terrier Patti often make it onto the presenter's social media where she shares regular updates on his pet pooches.
In a recent Instagram snap, Monty posted a full-length image of the golden retriever, who Monty and his wife welcomed into their family in October 2022.
He added the caption: "Very grown-up Ned." Fans rushed to comment on the heartwarming photo as one gushed: "Isn’t he a handsome boy." A second agreed: "Very handsome boy, never change Ned."

Another penned: "Beautiful… love his smile." While someone else branded Ned "the nation's favourite dog".
The post comes after Monty left fans worried for his safety after he became the victim of a storm. The Gardeners' World star took his dog for a walk on Monday morning (September 23) but was unable to travel down his usual route due to extensive flooding.
Around the same time, the Met Office issued a weather warning for rain, wind, snow, ice, fog, thunderstorms and lightning.
Updating fans on his current situation, Monty shared an image of his dog standing in what appeared to be a stream and told his 1.3 million followers: "This is usually a road..."
Fans were left shocked and proceeded to ask him if he would ever consider moving as the area was deeply affected by the downpour. One probed: "Have you ever considered moving into a boat…I am amazed all your plants don’t drown!"

"Oh my word, that is a lot of water!," added a second. While another posted: "I thought about you when I heard the weather this morning."
Monty has hosted Gardeners' World for more than two decades, having taken over from Alan Titchmarsh in 2003. Earlier in the month, he opened up about a potential successor when he one day calls time on presenting the BBC programme.
Speaking to The Times, he said: "Gardening has traditionally been a conservative — note the small ‘c’ — world and there is a male-dominated view of horticulture."
He added: "I think anything that encourages new thoughts, new people, new ideas is healthy, but when I said that I was actually thinking about a woman successor."
