A star of Channel 4's Hunted has been found dead in his London home.

Harry Savage, who appeared on the reality show in 2019, was pronounced dead at his house in Putney, London, on July 19. According to reports, police were called around 9:15 am by ambulance colleagues where they found Harry's body.

Detectives from the area are treating it as an "unexpected death." A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the crime, but has now been bailed pending further inquiries.

A post-mortem examination took place on Saturday (July 20), however, officers are still waiting for the results. Tributes have begun pouring in for Harry on social media, with one writing: "He’ll be shining down on everyone in his own very Harry way. Love you."

A close friend of Harry's penned: "I lost one of my very best friends this weekend. I’m utterly heartbroken, devastated and in complete shock. Hold on tight to those closest to you. Tell them you love them every god damn day.

"I will miss you forever Harry Savage. You were and always will be everything. I’m not sure how to navigate life without you but you’d just tell me to get the f*** on with it. I love you x."

Another shared: "I worked with Harry very briefly at WeWork and he was always such a great person to be around! Very sad to hear the news. Thoughts are with you and Harry’s friends and family."

Hunted follows 14 ordinary people who must go on the run and remain undetected for a period of 28 days while expert hunters attempt to find them. Harry was a drama student when he appeared on the show alongside his older brother Frank.

Speaking about why he chose to sign up for the series, he told Channel 4: "To challenge myself was the main thing, and also to try and change the stereotype about me, that my friends and other people have. To prove to myself that I could do something like this.

"I feel like my stereotype is … I don’t know… a gay man. That I can’t do some things that other people can do. That was one of my reasons, and to spend some time with Frank."

He referenced the tactics he planned to use on the show, adding: "Cheekiness… What else? I don’t know… We will use your cheekiness to wind up the hunters slightly."
