Jennifer Lopez shrugs off Ben Affleck split rumours with touching Father's Day tribute

Jennifer Lopez has shared a sweet message to her husband Ben Affleck on Instagram, as the pair continue to face speculation that they are headed for divorce.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage appears to be on the rocks, with rumours swirling that they could be heading for a split.

However, the Jenny from the Block singer seemed to dispel some of the speculation on Sunday when she posted a heartfelt message to her Hollywood star husband on Instagram.

The 54-year-old pop star shared a black-and-white photo of a pensive-looking Ben, 51, along with a touching caption.

She referred to him as "Our Hero," indicating there is still plenty of affection between them.

She also included a love heart emoji and ended the post with "Happy Father's Day".

Ben is father to Violet, Serafina and Samuel, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.

He is also stepfather to J.Lo's children, Max and Emme. J.Lo's tribute comes after reports earlier this week suggested that the Hustlers star was done trying to save her marriage with Ben following his move out of their shared home.

A source claimed that she has had enough and can't do any more to keep the marriage together.

"Jenny has had enough and she really tried but she can do no more, it's not getting any better, it's worse," they told Us Weekly.

The publication also alleged that J.Lo reached her breaking point due to Ben's supposedly "grumpy and negative" demeanor.

An insider revealed: "Ben is a great guy but he can be grumpy and a downer. I think the world saw that in photos like when they were at the Grammys last year; he wouldn't smile.

"If they saw how it really was, they would not attack her.

"He chain smokes and cusses and seems irritated a lot of the time. Great director and actor, but not a lot of laughs with him, you know?" But the source did add: "He is a wonderful father though."

Ben was recently observed celebrating Father's Day with ex-partner Jennifer. Paparazzi snapped him as he arrived at the gate of her secured estate this past Sunday.

These developments have emerged alongside sources claiming to US Weekly that Jennifer is "encouraging" Ben and J.Lo to "work on their marriage."

The informant disclosed: "Jennifer Garner is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage to Jen. She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy."
