Jennifer Lopez branded ‘deeply unpleasant’ by TV star after show stint sparked 'beef'

Former The View host Meghan McCain has recounted her "negative" experience with Jennifer Lopez when she was a guest on the hit ABC chat show.

Meghan McCain has recalled meeting Jennifer Lopez and it was not a good first impression, to say the least.

The former The View host, who co-presented the long-running ABC chat show from 2017 to 2021, detailed her experience with the megastar on the show during the June 7 instalment of her podcast, Citizen McCain.

“I, too, share similar negative stories that the entire world does,” Meghan shared.

As she went on to say: “I feel bad because we’re turning a point where there’s bullying happening to J.Lo. She just is a deeply unpleasant person.”

According to Meghan, the Love Don't Cost a Thing singer "had the biggest entourage I’ve ever seen [when she was on ‘The View’]. More than Kim Kardashian and the president.”

The Bad Republican author, 39, pointed out that she didn’t “really understand why it was needed,” referring to JLo's huge entourage.

The Express has reached out to Jennifer's reps for comment.

Meghan and her co-host Miranda Wilkins then alleged that Jennifer, who is reportedly believed to be on the rocks with her husband Ben Affleck, went after their podcast after they shared a TikTok clip of them talking negatively about her back in April.

“She had our video taken down,” Meghan claimed, adding the word “allegedly” since she had no proof Jennifer was the one behind the violation notice.

While the video was eventually restored on TikTok, Miranda joked: "We’re beefing with her right now."

TikTok’s reporting process involves both automatic detection technology as well as a system that allows other users to report videos.

This means that, according to the current procedure, there is no way for Meghan or Miranda to know who reported their video, as that process is anonymous.

Elsewhere in the video that was temporarily taken down, Meghan dubbed the Atlas star as “a PR mess” and also dished more dirt on J Lo's visit to The View.

“I’m gonna get in so much trouble for this, but my big memory of J.Lo is there was a person whose entire job it was to hold up a mirror with lights while they were touching her up backstage,” she stated.

Before adding: “I remember being like, ‘That poor man. What a weird job.'"
