Things don't appear to be looking up for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck after a source revealed the pair have somewhat distanced themselves amid split rumours.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reportedly gone their separate ways but are yet to officially split.

The pair, who tied the knot in 2022, have been at the centre of some worrying divorce speculation in recent weeks after a slew of solo appearances and rumours have been flying around Hollywood.

And now it seems more fuel has been added to the "Bennifer" split fire as a source has told Entertainment Tonight that Jennifer, 54, and Ben, 51, have “been living separate lives” but are “not officially separated yet.”

The insider went on to claim: “At this point, they are just doing their own thing", adding: “They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but they haven’t.”

This revelation doesn't come as a surprise considering the duo has also reportedly put their $60 million (£47m) Beverly Hills mansion up for sale.

Reports of JLo and Ben's marital home being put back on the market began over the weekend when a source told TMZ that the duo are using realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency to sell the home they purchased together last May.

Santiago has apparently been showing the home for about two weeks but there haven’t been any buyers yet.

While the Gone Girl star has reportedly started staying in a home in Brentwood from mid-May, the Love Don't Cost a Thing hitmaker was spotted looking at houses in and around California with Ben nowhere in sight.

The Entertainment Weekly source went on to claim that Jenny has been “leaning on” her mother, sisters Lynda and Leslie Ann and 16-year-old twins Max and Emme during this “transitional period.”

In fact, the Jenny From The Block singer even went as far as to cancel her This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits tour to spend time with “her children, family and close friends.”

And it's apparent the Argo actor, for his part, has also been relying on his nearest and dearest at this time — including best friend and Good Will Hunting co-star Matt Damon.

“Ben is sad about it all but focused on his work, being a great dad and co-parenting well with Jennifer Garner,” the source shared, referring to his children Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, whom he shares with his ex Jennifer.

“He has been leaning on Matt Damon and his close circle of guy friends,” the insider continued, adding: "Matt is always in Ben’s corner and is supportive of him.”
