Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes are said to have tried different things to "put the spark back" into their marriage, before allegedly splitting up. The former This Morning hosts are reportedly seeking a divorce after 14 years of wedlock.

Over the weekend, a spokesperson for the couple announced the separation. Their statement read: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing."

According to a source, the presenting pair have already been "living separately" for a couple of years. A source told the press: "As [Ruth's] ITV career continued, Eamonn went down another path and they became ships in the night. For the past two years, they had led separate lives, professionally and personally."

Now, footage from 2017 has emerged showing the couple exploring exciting new avenues to bring a spark back into their love lives. The 64-year-olds both visited a sex dungeon during their Channel 5 series Seven Year Itch.

While there, Eamonn and Ruth wore S&M gear and explored a kinky dungeon in a bid to inspire long-term couples in the bedroom. They were also given a lesson in whipping from Mistress Komakino.

Soon dominatrix Komakino ordered them to whip the sex slave but Ruth wasn't so keen as she winced: "Oh I don't like hurting people!"

Eamonn was full of confidence as he said: "I could do it" and took the whip from his wife."

He said: "This is Ruth" before repeatedly swatting the scantily clad man on the behind. The GMB presenter went on to thank the dominatrix as he said they had "learnt a lot".
