DRAMATIC moment shark ATTACKS diver in Australia
A video shows a spear fisherman out in the waters in North Queensland.
The underwater footage first shows scenes of fish swimming amongst the coral reefs.
At one point, the diver’s speargun can also seen at the side of the screen.
As the diver turns around, all of a sudden a giant bull shark is seen heading towards the camera at full speed.

The diver sticks out his spear and the shark goes straight into it.
It appears as though the diver stabbed the deadly predator in the mouth and blood can be seen in the waters.
The diver lets go of his spear, still stuck in the shark.
The bull shark is seen flapping its tail frantically before sinking.

Yes this exact scenario happened to me four years ago, only difference is that I didn’t have a spear gun, so I was bitten in the calf area
The footage was uploaded to youtube on Sunday and has since gone viral with more than 514,500 views.
The youtube user asked viewers: “Has anyone seen unprovoked aggressive behaviour like this from a bull shark before?”
One viewer responded with their own story. They said: “Yes this exact scenario happened to me four years ago, only difference is that I didn’t have a spear gun, so I was bitten in the calf area.
“I made it to the surface with only one fin.”
The diver uses his speargun to prevent the shark from attacking him
The user added: “Today I can walk and dive almost normally again. Never underestimate sharks, they are unpredictable wild animals.”
Another viewer commented: “Bull sharks are unpredictable, because they charge without warning, but most sharks will let you know that you’re not welcome and act like caged dogs before they actually attack.”
The story comes after a video captures the breathtaking moment a surfer, who lost his right leg in a shark attack, sees one for the first time since his accident.
The surfer, Mike Coots, had his leg bitten off when he was just 18 in Kauai, Hawaii.
