Sometimes there's nothing better than going to a beer garden during the summer. While the two are a match made in heaven the same can be said for Brits and Wetherspoons.

According to the JD Wetherspoos website, there are almost 900 pubs across the UK and Ireland. So, it is no wonder we seem to come across a Wetherspoon pub every couple of miles. However, new research has found the Wetherspoon capitals of the UK with one particular area having a staggering number of pubs.

Experts at QR Code Generator looked at the locations of every Wetherspoon in the UK and compared them against the area's population. Figures for the number of Wetherspoons per 100,000 residents were then obtained to determine the results.

Marc Porcar, CEO at QR Code Generator PRO S.L, said: “There is no doubt that Wetherspoons is considered somewhat of a landmark in the UK. It is popular with all ages and has a range of reasonably priced alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as budget food options. If you’re a Spoons lover looking for staycation inspiration or the ultimate Wetherspoons night out this summer, this list has some of the best options available to you.”

Let's take a look at the top 10 areas and the number of Wetherspoon per 100,000 residents.
