WATCH: Extreme skier plunges down near-VERTICAL peak in Swiss Alps
AN EXTREME skier has been filmed plunging down a near-vertical slope in Switzerland.
Daredevil skier Jeremy Heitz’s tackles near-vertical terrain
Jeremy Hertz tackled the 13,000ft peak whilst shooting an adrenaline-fuelled video for Red Bull.
The Swiss sportsman selected 15 of his dream peaks to ski down for his project.
Incredible footage shows him fearlessly zooming down the slopes, which most skiers would not dare attempt.
The slopes that Jeremy has selected are off-piste, meaning unpatrolled areas that are usually outside ski resort boundaries.
Never say no to new adventures
Jeremy, 27, has had a passion for skiing since he was a kid.
He took on his first ski run at the age of just two.
Jeremy says that he would “never say no to new adventures” and believes you should enjoy your life at “200 per cent”.
And he has certainly been living his life to that philosophy.
This year Jeremy came ninth in the Freeride World Tour, held in Verbier.
Photographs also capture the extreme sportsman in action as he slaloms down the Pennine Alps.
In the images he is barely distinguishable against the snowy mountains.

The story comes after Express.co.uk revealed how to get more piste for your pound as skiing holiday prices skyrocket.
Snow-capped destinations around the world have soared in price, owing largely to the fluctuating exchange rate.
But a Tesco Bank survey of 2,000 UK adults found more than a third are considering a ski holiday regardless.
The bank has released its annual Ski Index based on the best value per kilometre of piste.
