PRINCE HARRY and Meghan Markle are known for spending their New Year's Eve abroad. Last year they were spotted travelling rather humbly on their way to celebrate. Can the same be said this year?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle often spend New Year's Eve in a far-flung location. Last year the pair jetted off to Monaco, meanwhile this year they are anticipated to be in Canada. However, despite opulent celebrations, the pair were spotted sneaking on board a commercial aeroplane last year. Will they be travelling commercially this year too?
According to Entertainment Tonight, the royal couple were spotted sneaking onto the back of the commercial flight to France.
The duo are said to have tried to remain low-key as they slipped on board the British Airways flight.
Upon arrival, the couple were then whisked off on a short helicopter journey.
The pair then went on to enjoy a seasonal holiday in Monaco and onto Monte Carlo.

This year Harry, Meghan and son Archie will spend New Year’s Eve in Canada, where Meghan once lived.
According to The Mirror the family have already arrived in British Columbia and are set to spend the holiday in a $13.14 million waterfront mansion.
The family will be joined by the Duchess of Sussex’s mother, Doria, as well as a royal protection team.
Although little is known about the method of transport the couple took, after a year of being slammed for using private jets, commercial travel can not be ruled out.

The pair received negative backlash after they took four private jets in just 11 days on a private holiday.
Following the outcry, Buckingham Palace also put out a job advertisement for a new job role which would focus on reducing costs and improving efficiency.
The job posting released outlined the specifications for a Director of Royal Travel who would be in charge of purchasing “safe, efficient, cost-effective and appropriate travel services for the official duties of Member of the Royal Family and their Households.”
Meanwhile, the younger royals are already no strangers to flying on commercial aircraft.
This summer William and Kate were spotted travelling on commercial airline FlyBe with their family after a holiday to Balmoral.
The Sun reported that tickets cost just £73 per head.
Meanwhile, Royal Correspondent Emily Andrews let slip that Harry and Meghan also have their own secrets ways of flying commercially.
She said: “Harry and Meghan are two of the most famous people in the world. They went to Norway in the early stages of their relationship.
“It was Norwegian Air.
“No one on that plane knew that Harry and Meghan were on because the whole plane had boarded, they were driven to the back steps, they walked up, they had baseball caps on, snuck into the back seats of the aircraft.”
“No one even knew they were there.”
